Welcome to Lets Wheat Bake House (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or placing an order through our website https://letswheatbakehouse.com or by ordering through any of our other channels (phone, WhatsApp, social media), you (“you”, “customer”, “user”) agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.​

1. About Lets Wheat Bake House

  • Lets Wheat Bake House is a home‑based bakery located in Salem, Tamil Nadu.

  • We specialise in cookies, cakes and other bakery items prepared without added preservatives, maida, or refined sugar, and we also ship within Salem and in and around Tamil Nadu.

  • We operate as an FSSAI‑registered food business, and all products are prepared in compliance with applicable food safety standards.​

2. Eligibility to use our services

  • By placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into a binding contract under Indian law.​

  • If you are ordering on behalf of another person (for example, a family member or organisation), you represent that you are authorised to do so and that they accept these Terms as well.​

3. Product information and shelf life

  • All products are freshly prepared to order, primarily using whole‑wheat and other selected ingredients, without added preservatives, maida, or refined sugar.

  • The shelf life of each product will be clearly mentioned on the product package/label. You agree to check this information at the time of delivery and to consume or store the products as per the instructions provided.​

  • Because products are handmade, minor variations in size, shape, colour, and decoration may occur and will not be treated as defects.​

  • Any images used on the website or social media are for illustrative purposes and the actual product may vary slightly.​

4. Orders, lead time and acceptance

  • Orders must generally be placed at least 24 hours in advance of the required delivery or pickup time, unless specifically agreed otherwise by us.

  • Your order is considered an offer to purchase our products. We may accept or reject your order at our discretion, including in cases of non‑availability of ingredients, capacity constraints, or incorrect information provided by you.​

  • Order confirmation will usually be communicated via website notification, SMS, email, WhatsApp, or other agreed mode after successful payment/booking (as applicable).​

  • For customised or bulk orders, additional lead time, advance payment, and specific terms may apply, which will be communicated to you separately.​

5. Pricing, payment and taxes

  • All prices displayed on our website or shared over other channels are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are subject to change at any time without prior notice, except for orders already accepted.​

  • Prices may be inclusive or exclusive of applicable taxes and delivery charges; this will be indicated at the time of checkout or order confirmation.​

  • Payments must be made through the approved payment methods (such as UPI, cards, net banking, wallets, or cash on delivery, if offered) as communicated at the time of ordering.​

  • You agree to provide current, complete and accurate payment and billing information and authorise us and our payment partners to process your payments for the total order amount.​

6. Delivery, shipping and pickup

  • We follow a strict pre-order system to ensure freshness, quality, and nutrition in every batch. As a home bakery, all our products are prepared only after receiving confirmed orders, allowing us to bake without rush and maintain consistent quality.

    This time allows us to carefully source ingredients, prepare the dough, bake fresh, and pack hygienically. Shipping will take place only after 48 hours from order confirmation, ensuring that every product reaches you freshly baked and uncompromised.

  • We currently deliver within Salem and in and around Tamil Nadu, subject to serviceable areas as determined by us or our delivery partners.

  • Delivery slots or time estimates communicated at the time of order are indicative and may vary due to traffic, weather, operational issues, or other factors beyond our reasonable control.​

  • You are responsible for providing the correct and complete delivery address, contact number, and any necessary access instructions. We will not be liable for delays or failed deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete details provided by you.​

  • Risk of loss and product damage passes to you once the order is delivered at the address you provided or handed over at the agreed pickup point.​

7. Storage, consumption and allergies

  • You agree to follow all storage instructions provided on the packaging or by us (for example, refrigeration requirements, “consume within” timelines) in line with the shelf life mentioned on the pack.​

  • Products are meant for consumption within the indicated shelf life period; consumption beyond this period is at your own responsibility and risk.​

  • While we take care in our ingredient selection and production, our products may contain or come into contact with common allergens such as nuts, dairy, gluten, seeds, etc. You must inform us at the time of placing your order about any allergies or dietary restrictions, and we will inform you whether we can accommodate them.​

  • We do not guarantee an allergen‑free environment, and you accept that consumption is at your own discretion and risk.​

8. Cancellations, modifications and refunds

  • Because products are made to order and often customised, cancellations or changes may not be possible once the order has been confirmed, especially within 24 hours of the delivery or pickup time.​

  • In limited cases and solely at our discretion, we may allow order modification or cancellation if production has not yet started; any such changes may involve additional charges or partial refunds.​

  • Refunds or replacements may be provided only where:

    • The product delivered is significantly different from what was ordered (for example, wrong item).

    • There is clear evidence of damage or quality issues at the time of delivery, and you inform us immediately with photos or videos as proof.​

  • Taste preferences or minor variations in appearance will not qualify for refunds.​

  • All refund decisions will be taken after internal review and will be final and binding.​

9. User responsibilities

By using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current and complete information at all stages of ordering and communication.​

  • Not misuse the website, social media pages, or ordering channels for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purposes.​

  • Not post or transmit any content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or infringes any intellectual property or rights of others.​

  • Respect our staff, delivery partners and support teams and not engage in abusive or threatening behaviour.​

10. Intellectual property

  • All content on our website and official channels, including logos, brand names, product names, recipes (not disclosed), photos, videos, text, and graphics, are owned or licensed by Lets Wheat Bake House.​

  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any of our intellectual property for commercial purposes without our prior written consent.​

11. Limitation of liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lets Wheat Bake House will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our products or services.​

  • Our total aggregate liability for any claim, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, will not exceed the amount you paid for the specific order giving rise to the claim.​

  • We are not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from:

    • Failure to follow storage or consumption instructions or shelf life mentioned on the product.

    • Allergic reactions or health issues where ingredients and general allergen information were disclosed or reasonably assumed.

    • Delays or non‑performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), such as natural disasters, strikes, lockdowns, or disruptions in transport or utilities.​

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lets Wheat Bake House, its owners, employees and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected to your breach of these Terms or misuse of our services.​

13. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data. You agree to review and accept the Privacy Policy as part of these Terms.​

14. Changes to terms
